As has been mentioned, they raised the base price to $49.99, raising this deal to $24.99 (still a great deal, IMO) for a single drive.
Note that the discount code on this page only works for one order, but it works on as many drives as you add to that order, while the 10% discount checkbox on Amazon only works for the first drive on the order, making all after the first $29.99 (still $5 cheaper than Newegg’s best deal).
In other words, if you try and place a second order, you’ll only get the 10% discount, so probably not worth it. If you need more than one, place them all on the same order and eat the extra $5/drive after the first one (I had my wife order one to test it, then I ordered 4 more on my account).
Thanks for posting this! I wasn’t even in the market, but this is a good enough deal that I can’t resist (“hide your wallet!” indeed!). Two are going for Raspberry Pis (the model 4 benefits from UASP), and the other three are going for fscache drives for 3 Linux desktops (home directories on NFS).
