Be fast, be ready to pounce… introducing #red-alert.
As i said in my other post – you have to be ready to pounce to get the best deals.
But it doesn’t matter how ready you are, if someone gives the deal away within minutes to a much larger audience…
It takes 3 minutes for Discord notifications to arrive. Someone whored this out to Petunia 5 minutes after my post, so 2 minutes after notifications came in.
That’s not exactly a whole lot of time…
Once again, i politely ask everyone – please stop whoring. It takes time and effort to flush out these deals, and watching someone “generously” give it away is just wrong, and outright insulting.
Outside of asking politely, there is really nothing i can do. I’m working on a better solution, but for now – the old defunct #picks channel on Discord has been renamed to #red-alert, and site integration has been reactivated. Any future “crazy” deals will have their notifications show up there.
From there, how much time you’ll have is not really up to me.
If you’re going to have notifications on for anything, have it on for #red-alert… and be ready to pounce 🙂
