AliExpress – Monthly Checkout Codes for December

As a reminder…. “Sales codes” that Aliex issues during a sale like Black Friday work on just about everything on AliEx. These “Monthly codes” are pretty much the opposite, and work on very few listings (i guesstimate it to be around 5%). They are guaranteed to work on everything on this landing page, and on the deals i already handpicked. Outside of that – good luck 🙂

The page is algo generated, so what you see when you land on the page will depend entirely on what AliEx algo thinks you’re interested in.
Above is the screenshot of what mine looks like right now. I can scroll and scroll and scroll, and i’ll keep getting nothing but 3d printing related deals, with maybe some minor exceptions here and there. This took a bit of “training”.
As i mentioned before – AliEx needs to be trained to get the most out of it. Their algo decides what you like based on the sellers you follow, the items you add to favorites, the stuff you add to cart (and buy), and the stuff you browsed for most recently… with a very heavy emphasis on the “most recently” part. If i decide to browse for some RC Cars, this page will immediately start showing me a heavy dosage of all things related to RC.
This presents a bit of a challenge in how to present the listings i see on my variation of the page, since i know what i’m seeing is most likely not the same as what you’re seeing. Most of what i see are “smalls” – stuff that costs maybe $5-10, and on which the codes won’t work anyway, and not all of them are actually deals (most are just their regular price). Some that are at least somewhat resembling a deal i will be posting and tagging to appear here (some, like this V6 hotend make great “stuffers” to reach the minimum needed to use a checkout code, and can often end up free in the process) As far as the rest……
This is the first time i’m handling monthly codes on Puke Alpha, so i’m not really sure how to handle all of this yet. For now, i’m filtering out the obviously junk deals and dumping the rest in the grid below.
Prices posted are “AliEx accurate”… meaning – it’s what their API pulls in, and it’s a “garbage in, garbage out” type of a situation. API works fine, it’s the sellers screwing around with how they set prices that’s the problem. Basically, these are the raw prices you would see when you browse AliEx, and most likely will not be the same thing you see when you land on the listing’s page, don’t include shipping etc. This is just a small portion, to give you an idea of what’s out there that these codes work on.
