No deal schedule for today… not sure about tomorrow.
Not sure if this is part of Amazon changing some things, or just a problem with the 3’rd party api i’m using to get this data, but – today’s schedule is shooting blanks.
As mentioned in that old post, Amazon eliminated the “upcoming” checkbox from the Lightning Deals section, so it’s no longer possible to see upcoming deals… at least not from the Amazon interface. Luckily, the 3rd party api i’m using was still able to get that info, so even after Amazon made their changes, i was still able to post the day’s deal schedule.
In that old post about Amazon changes, i brought up a coupon search box link – a crucial tool that was still working at the time, but only if you had it bookmarked, as Amazon eliminated all linkage to it from their interface. That search box (or at least the link to it) stopped working a few days after that post, which is normal – once Amazon eliminates linking to a feature, that feature is not long for this world.
Amazon eliminated all linking to upcoming deals in that last update, so……….
Hopefully this is a hiccup with the api, and things will come back to normal soon, but it’s entirely possible that the daily deal schedule will be no more. We’ll see.
I really like having a schedule for the day, so keeping my fingers crossed that things come back to normal, but this is something that’s completely out of my control.
