Puke Alpha V3 is LIVE, baby… LIVE 🙂
Third revision of my attempt at this site. I gave up on the first two – too much of a pain setting the whole thing up properly, maintaining it, etc.
Things are kind of “stock” at the moment, and pretty simple in terms of features. The goal was to get things to function properly first, then figure out how to make everything “pretty” and add more functionality.
There are two big advantages of dealing with a blog/site over posting deals on a place like Twitter. The biggest one is the ability to organize/sort, and most importantly – mark deals as expired. The second is being able to not have to constantly butt up against a character limit. Something that becomes incredibly annoying when doing the Amazon Lightning Deal Schedule, or other “longer” type posts.
As of V3 – things are “working”. They may not be working they way i’d like, but “working”. At the very least they’re working good enough to where i plan not to use Google Docs this time around for the 11.11 Sales Prep.
As far as posting deals – let’s see how it goes. Main source is still Twitter. This is at best a backup for the time being.
Ok… let’s hope third time is the charm, and let’s see how it goes 🙂
