Typically, stuff that’s Prime One Day or Two Day (like this one) almost always goes out. Mostly because the seller doesn’t have time to stop the orders – Amazon process is just waaaay to fast and automated.
My first order actually showed up at my door today, and the second one claims to be arriving tomorrow. Perfectly cromulent Android tablet, decent enough specs. I’m actually upset- I’ve paid a lot more money for shittier tablets :p
Aaand the second one showed up today! Box actually contained another working tablet and not just a pile of dirt! I’m almost starting to think they were actually selling tablets. Craziest deal you’ve posted yet.
It’s a “delicacy” of a deal, that’s for sure… one that won’t come around often.
But no way it’s the craziest.
That honor goes to the deal we had a while back for 4 free vacuum cleaners. The seller (or the intern that goofed on the coupon) panicked and started emailing people pretending to be the “chief technician” for the company, and telling everyone to reject the incoming packages because….. these vacuums are dangerous and could KILL you, your family, AND all your relatives.
It’s going to be hard to beat that deal as far as crazy goes 🙂
On an unrelated note, i was cleaning out my spam folder the other day and found your email. Gmail, in it’s ultimate wisdom, seems to send all mail from the address i have listed on the site straight to spam… wonderful.

Wife and I both got the coupon code to work. Took a couple of trues to get it to stick, but the total showed $0. Went back into the order after and the coupon discount wasn’t there and the total order showed $56.16. Checked my credit card and don’t see any pending charge that matches (yet), but I’ll be keeping an eye on it to see if that changes.
That’s what has me concerned. When I go into View Order Details it shows the $56.16 price. Guess worst-case I can cancel or return it if it actually ships and they charge me for it.
In that case – you may as well cancel now, because they will ship the $50+ one for sure…
Usually when i post freebies, i don’t bother with a title. There is no point – it’s free crap, so i usually just say “free crap”, and that’s enough.
When i started posting this deal i didn’t expect it to be free. There were 2x 40% off promos and 5% off coupon, so i was expecting this to be 85% off total, with a final price of $52’ish. These promos can be wacky, so before hitting “publish” i took it to checkout just to confirm what my final total is, and was surprised it ended up being $0. Still not exactly sure how it got there 🙂
With these specs, it’s a pretty decent deal for $52… but not the same as free.
That’s actually kind of normal. Amazon doesn’t ship out based on whose order was first, they just want to make sure it ships. It’s weird, but that’s the way their logistics are setup.
That… or they value your wife as a customer more than you, so she gets priority 🙂

Mine arrived bent with a broken screen. Hope everyone else gets a better one than me. Trying to get Amazon to send me a replacement.
Just to check that it wasn’t a fluke, i had my wife go through the process, and sure enough – free tablet 🙂
