Enjoy it while you can… Amazon trots this out for big sales, just to make it go poof again right after. This section will most likely disappear, just like it did after Prime Day, etc.

As the name implies, it contains all the deals that went live “Today” (not sure if calendar day, or last 24 hours). Can pick categories, adjust price/percentage off sliders, etc. It’s a very nice and easy way to browse for current deals, and i wish Amazon would finally make it a full time thing, instead of something that only shows up for big sales.

Once you land on the item’s listings, make sure to check the new (and looooong overdue) price history feature. Right next to the item’s price you’ll see a “Price history” link. Click that and Rufus (finally useful for something) will pop up the price history for the item. It’s not as detailed as 3’rd party services like Keepa, but it’s more than good enough, and most importantly – it’s the most precise, since it’s straight from the source.

So…

Use “Started Today” to find new deals. Use price history to check that you’re not getting bamboozled, and what you’re looking at is an actual deal.
