So typical alkaline C are around 7 Ah (Duracell Coppertop C w/ DuraLock). This at 5000 mWh at 1.5V would make it 3.3 Ah. So about 1/2 the capacity of a normal C-alkaline battery. I hope they aren’t using the 5000 mWh at 3.7v (lithium voltage) because that’s would make 1.3 Ah capacity.
High capacity AA eneloop (eneloop pro) are 2.5 Ah.
Seems like the eneloop is better in the long run, unless you need the extra .8 Ah? Eneloop have known longevity and long shelf-life.
These rechargeable lithium 1.5V have a buck converter (step-down) so that sips power even when not used. Based on generic and popular information, Gemini-AI tells me that approximately 26 months, you’ll need to recharge because lithium has dropped to 30% of it capacity.
Although, the biggest question is the quality of the lithium-ion battery used.
