Note the price is close, but you have to pay >$7 for shipping (for the option with the motor).
Other sellers have similar or higher prices.
The difference between this one and the normal HGX clones is the depth.
The reason they can make it thinner is they properly cut the intermediate gear down so it doesn’t interfere with the part that grips the filament.
I designed an extruder around the common HGX gearsets on Ali (including the one this same company sells) and that was an irritation point for me.
I’m hoping they end up selling this (modified) gearset as well.
Edit: I wonder if Amazon or the seller mixed up the prices on the two options (with and without motor), as the prices are more inline with the normal Aliexpress/Amazon differences if you swap them.
Oddly enough, I’ve a week shipping on my first order (1) and my second order (2 more) will be here tomorrow (I ordered more after I dug into ’em a bit more).
