If you buy these bags with the cheaper flat valve, do yourself a favor and print one of the spacers on Printables to make your life easier. Search for vacuum bag disc or spacer.

To clarify, these have a design flaw where if you press down the vacuum pump, there’s no space for air to flow into the valve. The spacers solve that.
