Promo Page is LIVE!!!
A place to dump all those ‘meh XZN and GEEETECH/GIANTARM promos, along with some random stuff from brands that have done well for us in the past.
Promos are a bit weird, in that they need re-checking regularly. Some of these run for weeks on end, and prices change quite often during that time. I have it set to flush and re-check prices once daily, but still – poke around, prices may change in the meantime, especially during the times when Lightning Deals run (start at 7am-3pm).
In the past it was pretty much a given that a promo/coupon combo will always work. That has completely flipped around in the last year or so, and now finding a coupon/promo combo that stacks is very rare. So, items that have coupons will say so in the title, but coupons are not counted towards the final price, since there is no guarantee that they will work. It’s there strictly as “try it, just in case this one happens to work” type of thing.
Getting these up here is kind of a semi-automated process, with more manual work than automation… in other words – a pain in the you know what. So, whether this page is going to be long term remains entirely on whether or not people actually use it. Let’s give it a month or so, and then decide sometime in August.
